Lyceum Village SPC built the Lyceum Village app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Lyceum Village SPC at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Lyceum Village unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to First Name, Last Name, Email Address. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app uses these third-party services, which may collect information used to identify you: Apple (Sign in with Apple, push notifications); Google (Google Sign-In, Google Sheets, Calendar, Drive, Gmail, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play Services); Microsoft and Yahoo (optional sign-in); Facebook (optional sign-in through the browser); Wix (hosts our website and the small service the app uses for sign-in checks and notifications). We do not run our own servers; app data is kept in Google services operated by Lyceum Village and in your own accounts.

LOG DATA
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
COOKIES
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
LOCATION INFORMATION
The app uses your device's precise location in three ways, and only with your permission:
1. Choosing a place for a practice, game or event. When you search for or pick a location while scheduling, the app uses your location, only while the app is in use, to help find nearby places. The place you choose (its name, address and map coordinates) is saved with that practice, game or event so the people invited can see where it is.
2. Practice Check-In (optional, off unless a parent or guardian turns it on). If a parent or guardian turns on Practice Check-In for their child and allows location access "Always" / "Allow all the time", the app uses location in the background to notice when the child's device arrives at or leaves the location of a scheduled practice or game. We record only the arrival or departure and its time for that practice or game. We do not record a continuous location history or map coordinates. These check-ins are visible to the child, the child's linked parents or guardians, and the coach who scheduled that practice or game. They are never shared with other players or families.
3. Game attendance (optional, off unless the parent turns it on on their own phone). A parent or guardian can let the app notice when their own phone arrives at or leaves the location of their child's game or performance. We record only the arrival or departure and its time. We do not record a location history or map coordinates. This is visible to that parent, the child, and the child's coaches.
You can turn off location access at any time in your device settings, and a parent or guardian can turn off Practice Check-In or Game attendance in the app. The app keeps working without location, apart from these three features. We do not sell location information or use it for advertising.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Students can use the app only with a parent's or guardian's involvement. Every student account needs a linked parent or guardian to approve it before it can be used, whatever the child's age, and a Lyceum Village administrator reviews each parent–child link. A child under 13 can never start or approve a link request; a parent or guardian does it for them. We collect from children only what the app needs (the sign-up details such as name, email address and date of birth, and their practice, game and in-app activity). Location is used only as described in Location Information, and Practice Check-In runs only if a parent or guardian turns it on. A child's interactions with adults in the app are logged and visible to their parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can review their child's information, withdraw consent and delete the child's account at any time in the app or at https://www.lyceumvillage.org/account-deletion, or by contacting us at news@lyceumvillage.org. If you believe a child is using the app without a parent's or guardian's approval, contact us and we will remove the account.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
